                                                                   My Friends

Hey, my friends let's sit a while. Let's talk of life and share a smile.
Days are numbered and life ain't long; It won't all fit inside a song.

Let's talk about the days we've shared.  Let's talk about the storms we've fared.
Let's talk about what makes us glad.  Let's talk of life; the fun we've had.
Come talk about your thoughts of God.  Come tell a tale that's strange and odd.

Hey, my friends let's sit a while. Let's talk of life and share a smile.
Days are numbered and life ain't long; It won't all fit inside a song.

Bring your loved ones.  Bring your soul.  Bring the things you can't control.
Bring a bottle.  Bring some tea.  Bring your love, you share with me.

Share with me your thoughts and fears.  Share with me our missing years.
Share with me what you will  give.  Share with me the way you live.

Hey, my friends let's sit a while.  Let's talk of life and share a smile.
Days are numbered and life ain't long; It won't all fit inside a song.

I'll give to you my finest wine.  I'll give to you the love I find.
I'll give to you my finest drink.  I'll give to you the things I think.

We'll speak of things that touch our souls.  We'll speak of things like long lost goals.
We'll speak of things like God above.  We'll speak of things like cherished love.

Hey, my friends let's sit a while. Let's laugh and cry and sit and smile.
Our days were numbered long ago.  Let's let our spirits dance and flow.

Hey, my friends - I love you so!

  1. I wrote this as a song...To be used as song lyrics, so if any of you musicians think that you can put your beautiful musical skills to the challenge, I challenge you to turn this into a song. Ha ha ha. It's my philosophy. Don

    1. That would be wonderful. To me, that is what poetry is all about; sharing; not trying to be put on a pedestal or under a spot light. Just beautiful work music among friends.

  4. The life..
Does we appreciate our life, the love, loved ones and friends ...? What are our thoughts and we did actions today?
Did we told and did we showed the love and respect? Did we asked forgiveness and we gave her?
Did we give the help, when they be demand?
Did we do good something from heart, without to seeking anything in exchange?

Did we create something, what to remain after us? We do today this, what tomorrow perhaps will not how to do? We heal our hearts from the negative?
Do we gave a good example, who to continue to serve someone else and after us?
Quiet Is our conscience, when you lie down at night?
We do not think for the generally, that we if harm on others , actually we harmful to yourself?
Did we spent time for our family ?
Did we give them with care and joy?
    So many questions ...
The choice for all of this can be taken today, because tomorrow may be too late, tomorrow might did not! Let us not wait until something happens and only then to consider what we could do before it happened!
We have the choice to change today and now!

Live by their conscience and heart.
Be ethical and moral, gentle, loving and faithful. Ask for forgiveness and say I love you of all, who you them love .... because tomorrow may be too late ...
We always have a choice ..
