Why Do We Allow Wars?
They say that killing is a sin; then why do we allow wars?
They say to mind the golden rule; then why do we allow wars?
They say to live life to it's fullest; then why do we allow wars?
They call the earth a Brotherhood of Man; then why do we allow wars?
They say that, I am the Lord, thy God; then why do we allow wars?
They say that thou should not worship false idols; then why do we allow wars?
They say that God is Love and loves us all; then why do we.... Allow wars?
Why do we allow wars? I will never understand this.

I have written this because someone that I love is dying because he had to fight in a war that was never declared, and he was a peaceful man of God. He taught me everything that I know about being a man, and about the important things in life.

Ditto. I just don't understand the need for war.
DeleteWe already have 3,000 nuclear weapons. Why fight ground wars? Lives that never should have been lost over a senseless war. Doesn't make sense to me at all.
